My name is Ed Wilson, and I live in the historic city of St. John's, in the beautiful province of Newfoundland and Labrador.   St. John's is the oldest city and the most easterly point in North America.  I have always been involved with dogs and animals in general.  Ever since I can remember we have had dogs as family pets, and building bonds was one thing that I seemed to take pride in, especially as a young child.  About 10 years ago I had visited a friend working at a local kennel and caught sight of an Akita.  Like many familiar stories, the breed triggered an interest that has never left me.  I knew at once this was the breed for me, and I had to become involved.  As I began to study the breed, I realized that the characteristics of the "AKITA" really suited my personality.  I've always been a very competitive type person and decided I was going to be a successful owner/handler!  In the 8 years that I've been showing I have managed to win 16 "ALL BREED BEST IN SHOWS" on a total of three different Akitas, one National Specialty Best of Breed win and I have lost count of how many Group firsts and the number of Best Puppy In Show wins I have won with my dogs.  I've set Canadian Kennel Club records for the youngest male "All Breed Best In Show" winner, youngest female "All Breed Best In Show" winner, most Best In Show wins by an Akita, only Akita bitch in Canada to win a Best In Show and I'm sure many more!  I love the shows, I love this breed, and I have only just begun to make my mark as a top breeder.  Proud of our past and very excited about our future, we look forward to meeting many more great friends like the ones we've encounter so far!  Please enjoy your tour of our website and visit often!
