super sound bitch, standing over 27" and 
weighing 105 pounds.  She is without a doubt 
one of the best movers we have ever seen.  
She came to us from our friend, Mr. Serge
 Desforges in Rockland, Ontario.  We couldn't 
be more proud to have her as our foundation
 bitch.  She is the dam of two Canadian and 
one American/Canadian Champion, from her 
first litter.

Career Highlights

Kanika won Best In Match/Best Puppy In Match at her first show at only 3.5 months of age!

In her first set of American shows at 6 months and 15 days, she took two reserves to 5 point majors and won a Best in Sweepstakes!

Kanika won the 12-18 month class at the American Nationals Specialty in Fredrick, Maryland 2001!

In her puppy debut year, Kanika was the Number 5 Akita in Canada, Number 2 bitch in less that 15 shows!

She beat the Honored "Show of Shows: winner at a tough working group near year end in Ontario as a 10 month old puppy. and was defeated only by our own Tadashi at breed level as a puppy!

Kanika is the youngest All Breed Best In Show winning Akita in Breed history.  At 10 months of age, she set the record under Miss Betty McHugh, noted for her seminars on soundness and structure!  Her comments were: "A worth noting beautiful front end assembly and tremendous rear with correct angles.  I knew as soon as I examined her she was going to impress me with the movement.  Just a tremendous sound young bitch with so much potential, good luck with her!"
